Who We Are

Who We Are

The Translation & Interpretation Network (TIN™) was conceived when Catholic Charites Fort Worth was confronted with the hardships its limited English proficient clients encountered while trying to access medical, immigration and social services. With the financial help of the Texas Department of Health, TIN™ was founded in 1999 as a solution for the language gaps found in Dallas and Tarrant counties. Since its inception, TIN™ has grown into the premier full service language access provider in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This success has been achieved by providing the highest quality interpreting services through trained, certified interpreters; experienced translators producing high quality document translations; and innovative, industry-leading trainings for customers and interpreters alike. Building upon the experience gained through these services, TIN™ has expanded geographically into the San Antonio and Austin areas, and technologically by introducing on demand video interpreting. For all its success in the field of language services, at its heart TIN™ is a social enterprise, and its greatest success has been what it gives back to the community. All the profits TIN™ earns are given back to local charities. This, in addition to the wages paid to immigrants and refugees, means that over 70% of all the money TIN™ brings in goes back to help local communities.
